BioThane is also known as vegan leather! It is super durable, beautiful and has a lifetime that cannot be compared!

Within the last few years, there has been a big trend in the dog world to find an alternative to leather. BioThane is one of these alternatives.

BioThane lasts forever, like forever and it is not biodegradable. This means that it works super well for an active dog life, and especially for those dogs who enjoy getting dirty, wet and who are often in nature.

BioThane is made of polyester, covered with TPU or PVC, which means that it is 100% plastic. BioThane is a great product as it's easy to clean - just wipe it with a damp cloth when it gets dirty (ie don't turn on your washing machine - WIN!), it's soft and nice to hold, waterproof and extremely tough.

But if you thought that it is a plastic product, you must also remember to dispose of it in the right way and that you have to buy it so that it is used!

Therefore, think about buying a set of equipment in the right color. Equipment you want to use for many years, because it can easily last. Think of it as your streetwear. There are always a few items that you know you are happy with and will never be thrown out. Look at BioThane the same way.

In addition to the many advantages and disadvantages of BioThane, it is not as harmful to the environment as e.g. leather and uses only 1/3 of the resources used to produce leather and other organic materials.

I believe that apart from the fact that you must of course have concern for our dear planet, it is also important to find some equipment that does not require major replacements. Many of the products you can find for dogs today do not last very long and often have to be replaced after a season, and that is not sustainable in my view.

Almost all metal parts are either brass, stainless steel or rose gold.

The click buckles are carefully selected with safety and durability in mind. They are extra durable, which I personally believe is an important factor.

1. Silver buckles: size 1.6 - 2.5 cm are aluminium. Sizes 3 and 4 cm are zinc casting with nickel surface.

2. Gold buckles: size 1.6 - 2.5 cm are zinc casting, with electrodeposited coating. Size 3 - 4 cm is zinc casting with brass coating.

3. Rose gold: All widths are zinc casting, with rose gold coating.

All rivets and carabiner hooks are respectively Stainless steel, brass or rose gold buckles. So they can be used for a long and active dog life, with lots of exciting experiences.

All buckles are made of stainless steel, brass and steel with rose gold coating. And thus these are also super durable and beautiful for many, many years!

All fabric is chosen with care! It is primarily furniture fabric that is used and can therefore withstand wear, play and an active dog life.

Fabric will lose value over time and it does not benefit from being constantly wet, just like our sofa or our own clothing.
The fabric collars are almost unique, you won't find anything like them in the world and Collarfull were the first in Denmark to manufacture these collars.

The collars can withstand being washed in the washing machine at 30 C.
